Buying photographs
Please note that I prefer payment by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to David McHutchison and sent to me at 28 Byron Way, Exmouth, Devon EX8 5SA.

If you wish, photographs may be ordered by using my order form which can either be posted or emailed to me. If you have any difficulty in accessing the order form, let me know. I can explain exactly the information I need, which you can then put directly into an email or letter. Alternatively, if you prefer, I can send a form to you by email or post.

When you send the print details to me, please ensure that the correct information is recorded for each photograph as I cannot give refunds on incorrect orders. I will need to know the event (e.g. which swim meet or tennis tournament), image number, print size, finish (gloss or lustre), and any additional special instructions, for example, make the print black & white instead of colour. For digital images, I simply need to know the event and image numbers.

You should receive your prints within about two weeks, though large or complicated orders could take longer to process and may be slightly delayed if I need to be away from home around the time you send in your order.

Please note that digital images are supplied at 600 pixels on the longer side. These can be sent on CD or by email if you prefer and you are able to receive email attachments.

Photographic print sizes
Not all print sizes are the same shape. Some are square, some are narrow rectangles, while the others are somewhere in between. I shall endeavour to crop the photographs to fit exactly the dimensions chosen. However, where this would result in an important part of the photograph being lost, I shall fit the image on to the paper in the best possible way. This may mean that you will have a white border along two sides of the image. If you are concerned by this, please contact me so that I can discuss the individual photo(s) with you. If I feel that the size you have chosen is unsuitable, I shall check with you before proceeding.
